Nigeria: Bauchi Gov-Elect Begs Workers to End Strike

Bauchi — Bauchi State governor-elect, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, yesterday appealed to organized labour in the state to suspend their industrial action over non-payment of two months salaries by the outgoing administration.

A statement signed by the state deputy governor-elect, Engr. Nuhu Gidado said the strike had become injurious to the on-going transition process.
