Nigeria: Jonathan - What I'll Do After Leaving Office

President Goodluck Jonathan says he will be solely engaged in preaching peace and harmony in the country after leaving office. Jonathan stated this at the Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday while receiving the 2015 Epitome of Peace Award by the Field Superintendent of the Apostolic Church Nigeria, Federal Capital Territory Field.

Jonathan said he would encourage all Nigerians to embrace peace and shun bitterness since their respective religions could only be practised in a peaceful atmosphere. He said he believed that he was being honoured for conceding defeat in the March 28 presidential election to avert crisis in the country.
