The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) this week charged to court four suspects for allegedly stealing some 140 air conditioners at the Queen Elizabeth II Quay, according to Chief Superintendent Ibrahim Koroma aka Size Man, at a press briefing organized by the force.
According to the CID Director, after the case was transferred to them from Central Police Division, his team conducted thorough investigations before they charged the four suspects with the offences of conspiracy, larceny and receiving stolen goods. He said the quartet is currently detained at the Male Correctional Centre on Pademba Road.
