Sudan: Girl, Young Women Gang-Raped in East Jebel Marra, North Darfur

Tawila Locality — A basic school student of Rwanda camp for the displaced in Tawila locality, North Darfur, was raped by six men on Sunday. In East Jebel Marra, members of a government militia gang raped three young firewood collectors on Monday.

The coordinator of the Tawila camps, Omda Mukhtar Bosh, reported to Radio Dabanga that "six Janjaweed riding on camels" ambushed a group of young women and girls of the Rwanda camp, while they were collecting firewood west of Tawila town.
