Despite government efforts to restrict production and consumption of sachet spirits, it seems that addicts of the same in the country have found local brewed Kachasu as an alternative.
Malawi24 findings indicates that most youths in the city of Mzuzu in particular and beyond are still quenching their throats with Kachasu liquor which has doubled alcoholic percentages compared to the recently banned Blackberries.
