Cuito — At least 9, 790 various landmines were deactivated in the central Bie province by demining operators carrying out work in this region for the period between 2002 and 2014.
The information was told to Angop in Cuito city (Bié) by the field officer of the Interministerial National Committee for Demining and Humanitarian Assistance (CNIDAH), Norberto Quintas, when presenting the landmines situation in the country.
