Nigeria: Disquiet in NDA Over Hazard Allowance

Kaduna — Dozens of lecturers at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna are grumbling over unpaid hazard allowance. Non-payment of the allowance by the federal government led to a nationwide strike in 2013 which ended after an agreement between the government and the lecturers.

Lectures in some universities thereafter received part payment of the said allowance.
