Cameroon: Work On Batchenga-Ka'a Rail Line Progressing

The 21st Inter-ministerial Committee in charge of Railway Infrastructure, met on May 26, 2015.

Members of the Inter-ministerial Committee in charge of Railway Infrastructure, COMIFER, have parted company in the Ministry of Transport in Yaounde, rejoicing at progress made in the first phase of earmarked projects. It emerged from the get-together yesterday, May 26, 2015, chaired by COMIFER President, Robert Nkili and Minister of Transport, that the rehabilitation of the 175 km Batchenga-Ka'a railway line by CREC Company was on a good footing. It is part of the first phase of the project from 2009 to 2013.
