Liberia: Commissioner Calls for Support At FOI Guideline Launching

Monrovia — The Independent National Information Commission of Liberia has launched a guideline to Freedom of Information (FOI) in the country. The FOI commission Thursday launched the guideline to govern all processes and procedures for investigating, hearing of complaints and appeals, and issuing decisions.

According to Cllr. Mark Bedor-Wla Freeman, Chairman of the Commission, the purpose of the guideline is to among many things provide clear, easy and streaming procedures for filing FOI appeals with the Commission.
