Tunisia: MOU Signed in Moscow Between Tunisia and Russia On Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy

Tunis — A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on co-operation in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy was signed between the Ministry of Higher education and Scientific Research and Russia's Federal Atomic Energy Agency as part of the annual ATOMEXPO International Forum, held in Moscow on June 1-3, 2015.

The MoU provides, notably, for the establishment of bilateral co-operation in matters of assistance to development of basic infrastructure of nuclear energy in Tunisia, boosting fundamental and applied researches and conception of use of nuclear reactors and research reactors, a Foreign Ministry statement published, Wednesday, reads.
