Sierra Leone: Mass Malaria Drug Administration Has Been a Successful Operation

Freetown — The MOHS National Malaria Control Programme has presented its Report Measuring Impact of the Mass Drug Administration (MDA) for malaria in Ebola affected districts of Sierra Leone at a Dissemination Meeting of the Assessment Report held on May 29, 2015 at New England in Freetown.

The primary objective aimed at assessing the impact of Mass Drug Administration (MDA) on malaria-related infection cases in the districts benefiting from MDA, and the secondary objective was to assess the impact of MDA on number of suspected cases admitted at Ebola holding centres.
