Nigeria: Piracy - Blue Doth, Singulus Announce Plans for Movie Industry

As part of efforts to halt piracy and create a more conducive environment for replicating CDs and DVDs in Sub Sahara African countries, Blue Doth Global Concept, a Nigerian based company and its partner, Singulus Technology, a German company, have announce plans to start operations in Nigeria.

In an interactive session with newsmen in Abuja, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ms Binta Yahaya, who is also a Nigerian movie star and presenter, Aladun Arewa on Africa Magic Hausa, said "Nigeria's movie industry is winning global attention, but DVD piracy may bring it down someday.
