"Kenyans have peculiar calling habits" Safaricom former CEO Michael Joseph was once quoted to have stated! Could he have been on to something even more profound? What other peculiar attributes do we possess? What is it that distinguishes Kenyans from peoples of other nationalities? Being sporting or athletic would have been a nice way of describing Kenyans as we are indeed a sporting powerhouse!

Yet even our next door neighbors' the Tanzanians rarely refer to our sporting excellence. That is secondary! Kenyans are known for their aggression, dominance and corruption. Their industry, hard work, competence and business acumen take a back seat and pale in the background of the above.
