Angola: Hospitals Residues Management Plan Contributes to Good Health, Environment

Luanda — The strategic plan for hospitals residues management, already being implemented in public and private hospitals, will contribute to a better protection of public health and the environment, said last Tuesday in Luanda the Angolan Health minister, José Van-Dúnem.

Speaking at the seminar on "Hospitals Residues Management", held in partnership with the Environment Ministry, José Van-Dúnem stressed his strong commitment to working in the management and treatment of residues with the utilisation of environment friendly technologies and equipment, which are not a source of contamination of soils or the population.
