THE Zimbabwe senior soccer team failed to leave for their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Malawi on Thursday afternoon after the players refused to travel over unpaid allowances.
Zifa officials and Warriors head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, were at the airport but waited in vain as the team bus never arrived with the squad holed up at their hotel demanding that they be paid their allowances before they leave.
