The sudden death of Nigerian football player David Faramola Oniya during a friendly football match between T-Team and Kelantan has shocked everyone, according The Star in Malaysia.
The 30-year-old defender played for Malaysia Premier League club T-Team.
Kelantan player Amiridzwan Taj Tajuddin reportedly said: "The game had just started for about two or three minutes. Suddenly, he collapsed."
The match was called off after 60 minutes when they were informed by the hospital that Oniya had died.
