Maputo — Mozambican Interior Minister Jaime Monteiro has sent a team to audit the 12 bank accounts operated by the National Immigration Directorate, in the country and abroad, reports Monday's issue of the Maputo daily “Noticias”.
Monteiro gave the order when he visited the Directorate on Friday and found that it has seven accounts in Mozambican banks, two in Portugal and three in South Africa.
