Malawi: ACB to Start Investigating JB Over Cashgate After Lutepo's Conviction

Commentators have argued that following the conviction of chief Cashgate suspect Oswald Lutepo, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) must start preparing its case against former President Joyce Banda who was implicated in the looting of public finances by the convicted tax thief.

After Banda abandoned him having had lost the Presidency, Lutepo went on record and declared that he had stolen from Malawians but on the instructions of Joyce Banda who fled the country soon after losing the Presidency.
