Malawi: Judge Refuses Lutepo 'Special' Prison Treatment, Orders Forfeiture of Assets - Malawi Cashgate

London — High Court Judge Redson Kapindu has rejected a plea by convicted businessman Oswald Flywell Lutepo to be given special privileges in jail.

Lutepo was on Monday June 15, 2015 convicted on his own plea of guilty on charges of money laundering and conspiracy to defraud government of K4.2 billion (US$9.3 million) between April and September 2013.
