Dar es Salaam — Fastjet, the low-cost pan-African airline, is embarking on an ambitious strategy at increasing load factor by offering the lowest ticket prices available.
"We conducted a string of consumer surveys on the challenges travellers encounter when booking for flights and one of the most significant was hiked ticket prices by rogue agents. To this end we want to create awareness on how consumers can get the best value for money spent," Jimmy Kibati, the Fastjet General Manager East Africa, told East Afrian Business Week recently.
