Nigeria: Speculative Trading Sustains Downward Trend As Equities Dips By N124 Billion

Lagos — The bears continue to maintain their hold on the Nigerian equity market as the market went further in the south this week on the back of speculative trading and uncertainty.

When the market close for the week, market indicators shows that the market capitalization and NSE All-Share Index depreciated by N124 billion and 363.85 basis points represented 1.08 per cent represented to close on Friday at N11.353 trillion and 33,257.90 points respectively.
