THE process of securing consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has been described as one of obstacles that hinder prosecution of corruption cases in the country by the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB).
"It is not easy to obtain the permission (DPP's consent)," a section of survey report released recently by the Legal and Human Rights Centre on corruption awareness, whistleblowers' protection and people's willingness to fight the vice, said.
