On a cool Wednesday, I receive Caroleanne Phillips at The Observer offices, unaccompanied, for an interview. This is at the end of her three-and-half-week stay in Uganda. I had made contact with her on May 17 after her interesting sermon at St John's COU Kamwokya, in Kampala.
See, this US citizen aged 60 spent the usual length of the sermon period, but she didn't open a page of the Bible to read one or more verses. No, she simply narrated her two visions through which, she says, the Lord revealed to her that He has chosen the black (Negroid) race to lead the rest of humankind in embracing a new wave of the Holy Spirit and readying the world for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
