In a public appeal, the International Criminal Court has urged people in northern Uganda to come out in big numbers and testify against Dominic Ongwen, a former Lord's Resistance Army commander.
Ongwen is currently before the ICC awaiting his trial for crimes against humanity and war crimes. Phakiso Mochochoko, the ICC Head of Jurisdiction, Complementarity, Cooperation and Jurisdiction, said witnesses have up to September 2015 to provide information that will facilitate the trial.
