Tanzania: Domestic Workers Remain Vulnerable to Abuse

THE International Labour Organisation (ILO) recognises the stark fact that domestic workers make a vital contribution to the smooth functioning of households.

These lowly paid workers may clean, cook, iron clothes, look after the garden and care for children or elderly parents. In that case, the ILO says, households should establish respectful relationships with those who care for their homes and families.
