Angola: Constitutional Court Must Be Pillar in Fundamental Rights Defence

Luanda — The Angolan citizens must look at the Constitutional Court as the main reserve in the defence of fundamental rights in the country, said last Wednesday the jurist Onofre dos Santos, who is a counsellor-judge at the Angolan Constitutional Court, which this Thursday is celebrating its seventh anniversary.

The jurist, who gave an exclusive interview to ANGOP, in the ambit of the country's fortieth independence anniversary and its achievements, stated that the Constitutional Court deals with issues that are sometimes overlooked by the ordinary courts.
