Washiington, DC — Former US Representatives Ronald Dellums (D-CA) and J.C. Watts (R-OK), Co-Chairs of the AGOA Action Committee, issued the following statement on the Reauthorization of the African Growth and Opportunity Act

“Yesterday, by a vote of 286-138, the US House of Representatives followed their colleagues in the US Senate in approving legislation (H.R. 1295) to extend the African Growth and Opportunity Act for additional ten-years. We are so appreciative for the bi-partisan leadership and cooperation shown in getting this legislation approved and sent to the President for signature.
