Algeria: Four Drug Traffickers Arrested, Over 10 Quintals of Cannabis Seized in Ouargla

Algiers — Four drug traffickers were arrested on Thursday by members of the National Popular Army (ANP), which also seized more than 10 quintals of cannabis in Ouargla, the Ministry national Defence (MDN) said Friday in a statement.

"As part of the efforts of securing borders and fighting the organized crime, combined detachments of ANP within operational areas of El-Oued and Ouargla (4th military region) arrested on 25 June 2015, in the communes of Still and Touggourt, four drug traffickers and seized a commercial vehicle, an all-terrain vehicle and a refrigerated truck loaded with over 10 quintals cannabis," said the source.
