Revenue authorities worldwide are taxed with the collection and management of national taxes to boost the coffers of governments wherever they operate. They are given set targets and the instruments to achieve them and in return, they are expected to deliver.
Such is the case for Uganda Revenue Authority and indeed all the revenue bodies in the East African Community (EAC) especially given that this is the beginning of the next financial year.
