Abbey Bagalana avenged last year's play-off heartbreak by winning the Eskom golf Open in Jinja, writes JAMES SEKANDI.
Bagalana is a freewill spirit. As rain was falling heavily at the par-72 Jinja golf club, the Crane bank-sponsored player stepped on the first tee feeling a little at home. At the end of 36 holes, he was two strokes better than nearest rival Ronald Otile, who was seeking a second straight title.
