Morocco: HM the King Inaugurates Training, Outreach Center for NGOs

Casablanca — HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, here Monday, a training and outreach center for NGOs to promote the professionalization of the associative action, the development of the expertise of cooperatives, the encouragement of private initiatives and the promotion of social and solidarity economy.

Built in El Hank neighborhood (prefecture of Casablanca-Anfa) with a budget of 10 million dirhams and the support of public and private partners, the center meets the needs in coaching, support and stimulation of associations, particularly through local training and capacity building of local associations and support for associations and cooperatives created with the aim of boosting a strong and effective participation of all civil society stakeholders in the development process.
