Tanzania: Stamico Gets Director General

PRESIDENT Jakaya Kikwete appointed Engineer Edwin Ngonyani the State Mining Corporation's (Stamico) Director General as the corporation's employees were challenged to effectively deliberate on pertinent issues for the entity's development and sustainability.

Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Minerals Ngosi Mwihava issued the challenge in a speech read on his behalf by the ministry's Director for Human Resources and Administration, Mrimia Mchovu, at the launch of Stamico's Workers' Council.
