Nigeria: Protests in Anambra Over 'Boko Haram Relocation'

Awka — The South-East traders under the Anambra State Amalgamated Traders Association (AMATAS) have held a 7-hour protest over the alleged report of transferring Boko Haram inmates moved to Ekwulobia prisons in the state.

The traders from Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Anambra states during the protest yesterday marched around major roads at Ekwulobia urban, chanting anti-Boko Haram songs and calling on the federal government to rescind the decision.
