Poor, inadequate or non-engagement of professional managers are major factors behind projects and programmes failure in the country, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Project, Programme and Project Portfolio Management of Nigeria, Dr Jamilu Isa Yankwashi, has said.
Speaking at the mid-year conference of the institute in Abuja at the weekend, Dr Yankwashi said projects and programmes can only be successful and deliver results if well managed and done according to laid down procedures by professional managers.
