Nigeria: Akwa Ibom Leaders Reject Nuclear Power Plant

Uyo — The Akwa Ibom leaders have rejected the citing of the proposed nuclear power plant in Itu, Akwa-Ibom state by the Nigerian Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC).

The leaders in a press briefing in Uyo, yesterday said the project has more devastating consequences than its obvious advantages.
