Malawi: 'Please Come Back to Malawi!' Mutharika Begs Jb Again

President Mutharika has reiterated his earlier calls that former President Joyce Banda should come back to Malawi. Mutharika's remarks have come days after the former President announced that she is not returning home because she has nowhere to stay and there is no security provided by the Mutharika government for her.

In an interview with Malawi24's Mike Kangwele Presidential Spokesperson Gerald Viola said that Mutharika wanted the former President to be in the country as he had earlier stated on his return from Mozambique where he had gone to attend the country's independence celebrations.
