Nigeria: Senate to Intervene in Anambra Prisoners' Transfer Crisis

Abuja — Barely 72 hours after the news of the transfer of unspecified number of Boko Haram prisoners to Ekwulobia in Anambra State, and the tensions so far created in the area, there are strong indications that the Senate may intervene.

Recall that governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state had denied having a hand in the controversial transfer of Boko Haram prisoners to the state.
