Nigeria: Expert Advocates More Patronage for Orthodox Medicine

Prof. Debo Dupe, Medical Director, Institute of Quantum Medicine, Ijagbo, Kwara, on Sunday called for more patronage for orthodox medical practice to reduce high rate of unwarranted deaths among Nigerians.

Dupe made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Omu-Aran, Irepodun local government area of Kwara.

He said that traditional or orthodox medical practice still remained a viable alternative to conventional medical practice in achieving effective diagnosis and treatment of diseases and infections in villages and communities.

Dupe, a retired professor of Naturopathic medicine, said that such patronage became necessary in view of the recent global breakthrough achieved in the field of orthodox and herbal medical practice.

Dupe listed the perfect and successful combination of quantum medical diagnosis and herbal medical approach of treating patients as a one of such breakthrough.

"With such breakthrough many nations have joined the global recognition for adopting traditional medical practice as the best alternative and Nigeria should not be an exception," he said.

He claimed that there could be 5,600 diseases in human body at a given period, adding that ignorance among the citizens in knowing their health status remained a problem.

"There is nobody without a disease. There could be up to 5,600 diseases in human body at varying period.

"Only 15 per cent of the 7.2 billion world population know they are sick, 85 per cent do not know," he said.

Dupe said that quantum medical diagnosis coupled with orthodox treatment places high priority to unearth the fundamental and underlining factors of falling sick to achieve effective performance.

The expert, who said he had 50 years working experience in 60 hospitals and clinics across globe, said human body, especially the brain, consists of billions of cells.

He said that brain would only be accessed by special tailored machines.

"Human body has 50-100 trillion cells and normal human brain has 50-100 billion cells.

"About 25 million cells are divided at one second and body's blood cells renews at the rate of 100 million per minutes.

"Only Quantum Resonance Magnetic Analyser can detect 5,600 diseases in human body. It will give you advice on what to do and what not to do," he said. (NAN)
