Algeria: State Will Not Waive Social Achievements Despite Oil Price Fall

Algiers — Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal said Saturday in Algiers that the State will not waive the social achievements made in past years in spite of falling oil prices.

Speaking at the end of the inspection and working visit to Algiers, Sellal affirmed that despite the drop in oil prices, the social gains made in the past years, particularly with regard to the various youth employment mechanisms, will be maintained.
