Gambia: KAC Hosts Peer Review Meeting On Trans-National Project

Kerewan Area Council in partnership with the members of Zimbabwe and Ghana councils recently concluded a two-day international peer review on a 5-year project called Strengthening Transnational Partnership and networks for enhanced participatory local governance project (STRAP).

The project being implemented in The Gambia, Ghana and Zimbabwe, seeks to strengthen regional local government association networks, improve local democratic governance by increasing citizen's participation, enhance regional solidarity for the citizens in the partner countries, as well as to strengthen capacity for sustainable development in local communities.
