Nigeria: OSOPADEC Stakeholders Pledge to Strengthen Peace, Security in Mandate Areas

Akure — Stakeholders in the mandate areas of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) had expressed their readiness to strengthen peace and security in the areas to ensure that nothing hinders various developmental projects in the areas.

The stakeholders including the traditional rulers, youth organisations, security agencies, political leaders women groups and community agitators expressed their minds at a Stakeholders Forum organised by the commission established in 2001 to cater especially for specific environmental, developmental and infrastructural needs of the oil producing communities.
