AGRICULTURAL experts and stakeholders are against genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in crop production, arguing that the technology is not a lasting solution to the attainment of sustainable food security in the country.
Experts maintain that GMOs offer little hope in tackling critical challenges, including crop diseases and climate change, that lead to long drought spells, pests, thus drastically impeding the progress of the country's agricultural sector.
