Nigeria: Medical Doctor's Impersonator Arraigned

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has arraigned one George Dawari Edward before Justice Peter Kekemeke of the Abuja High Court sitting at Apo, Abuja, for impersonation.

Dawari was arrested on June 5, 2015 on the strength of a petition filed before ICPC, that he allegedly claimed to be a Medical Doctor, demanded the sum of N450,000 from a couple with a promise to procure 5-year visas to the United States for them and members of their family.
