Botswana: Health Programme Attracts Youth

Bobonong — Acting deputy permanent secretary for preventive health services in the Ministry of Health, Dr Haruna Baba Jibril, says the implementation of Youth Friendly Services (YFS) in the ministry, has attracted a lot of young people as the programme offered sexual and reproductive health issues in a friendly environment.

Speaking during the YFS awards ceremony organised by the District Health Management Team (DHMT) in Terrafou Lodge recently Dr Jibril said working with young people has never been an easy task as they require someone who understands them and guides them without being judgmental.
