An effective security blanket thrown over the Coast counties resulted in the lifting of travel advisories against three of the region's counties, the Star has learnt.
The British Foreign Office had previously warned against all but essential travel to almost all of Kenya's Indian Ocean coastline, but rescinded the decision following a security assessment of the personnel, facilities and measures put in place.
