Liberia: Lofa Farmers Sell 45 Metric Tons of Rice to WFP

Farmers in Lofa County raised US$40,000 early this year from the sale of 45 metric tons of rice to the World Food Program (WFP), the Head of the Agriculture Infrastructure Investment Corporation (AIIC), Mohammed Kamara, has said.

He added that the money was raised between February and April through the help of the USAID Food and Enterprise Development (USAID FED) as support to the farmers.
