Ghana: GIS Interdicts 9 for Criminal Misconduct

The Ghana Immigration Service [GIS] has interdicted nine [9] officers for criminal misconduct which has caused the Service and the State to lose revenue amounting to thousands of Ghana Cedis. A statement signed by the head of the Public Affairs, ACOI Francis Palmdeti and released in Accra last night said the affected officers will also be handed over to the police for proper investigations to be conducted into the case.
