Nigeria: Electricity Generation Hits New 4,545 MW Peak

Abuja — In what may have further buttressed its stance that the national grid never 'suffered series of system collapses recently,' as alleged by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), on Tuesday, said electricity generation into the grid has hit a new-all time high of 4,545 megawatts.

This, the company said follows noticeable improvements in gas supply to power plants across the country.
