Maputo — The Mozambican and Zambian authorities on Thursday reaffirmed the need for the defence and security institutions of the two countries to strengthen cooperation in joint police operations, training, the exchange of information, and cultural and sporting interchanges.
The joint operations should be aimed at a variety of crimes, including illegal immigration, delegations from the two countries decided at the end of a session of the Mozambique-Zambia Joint Defence and Security Commission, held in the southern Mozambican resort of Bilene.
