Nigeria: Should Parents Impose Curfews On Their Kids?

Should we impose curfews on our teenage children as a way of disciplining and keeping them away from the many vices plaguing our society like drug trafficking, violence and crime?

There are many words or phrases that kids, especially teens dread hearing from their parents. One of such is 'curfew.' Many of them see their adolescent years as a time to enjoy some level of freedom and gain experience in certain aspects of their lives, so they think it is unfair to impose curfews on them. But should parents really turn a blind eye to their kids growing up years? Life Xtra sought the opinions of a cross section of people on the issue.
